Privacy policy

Your information,
handled with care.

Effective 30 September 2026

Bloo respects your privacy. This policy describes how we collect, use, store and safeguard personal information when you use our website, forms and related services.

01

Who we are

Bloo connects suppliers of plastic recyclables with manufacturers and buyers and facilitates commercial enquiries such as AGO supply quotes. Depending on your interaction, the controller of your personal data is the Bloo entity operating the site you used. For privacy questions, contact info@blooltd.online.

02

Scope

This policy applies to our public website and landing pages, quote request and enquiry forms, email communications initiated through those channels, and technical data automatically collected when you browse our site. Third party sites we link to are governed by their own policies.

03

Information we collect

When you submit a quote or contact us, we may collect your name, email address, telephone number, company or business name, country and commercial context such as requirements, volumes and timelines. Our hosting infrastructure may also log IP address, approximate region, browser and device type, timestamps and pages requested.

04

How we use your information

We use personal information to respond to enquiries, coordinate with relevant suppliers or partners, send transactional communications, improve our operations, protect our systems and comply with applicable law. We do not sell your personal information or use enquiry data for unrelated automated profiling with legal or similarly significant effects.

05

Legal bases

Where applicable, we rely on steps prior to a contract, legitimate interests, consent where expressly requested, and legal obligations. These bases may apply under frameworks including UK GDPR, EU GDPR and Nigerian data protection rules.

06

Email delivery and service providers

Form submissions may pass through our backend systems and reputable transactional email providers so our team can receive and respond to your enquiry. Hosting and infrastructure providers may access technical logs only as needed to provide their services under confidentiality and security commitments.

07

International transfers

Bloo operates in a global trade context. Information may be processed in countries other than your own where our hosting or email providers maintain servers. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

08

Retention and security

We retain enquiry and quote records only as long as necessary for the stated purposes, legal claims, commercial correspondence and regulatory obligations. We use appropriate administrative, technical and organisational measures, including HTTPS and access controls. No online transmission is completely secure.

09

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, and to data portability in specific circumstances. To exercise these rights, contact us. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

10

Cookies and children

We may use essential cookies or local storage needed for core website behaviour. Non essential tracking is not a routine part of this policy version. Our services are directed at businesses and adults involved in trade and procurement, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Where material changes are made, we will revise the effective date and provide additional notice where appropriate. Continued use of our services after an update acknowledges the revised policy to the extent permitted by law.
